- Voice intelligence vendor Dubber finalises Global partnership.
- BT Global’s partnership with Dubber supported the voice intelligence vendor’s record subscriber growth in its quarterly reporting for the period to 31 December 2021 (Q2 FY21–22). Dubber’s tie-up with BT was provisionally agreed in April 2021 but not confirmed until December 2021 because of a “lengthy formal procurement process”. The partnership sees Dubber’s recording and conversational intelligence solution embedded within BT Meetings, which was said to provide Dubber with an accretive revenue stream, with additional revenues determined by the uptake of the service. Dubber believes this “sales momentum” for recording and voice data services will continue to grow. It added that there is a “strong appetite for additional data and AI [artificial intelligence]-driven services to be included in BT’s core offering”. Dubber revealed a revenue increase of AU$400,000 (£210,440) to AU$8.5m for the quarter, with subscribers now surpassing 510,000. It added that Q3 had seen Dubber reach “notable” milestones, while achieving “record growth in its key metrics and finalising landmark commercial agreements and deployments”.
